Washington High Street Eats Line Up: Nov. 8

Washington High Street Eats returns today in the Washington High School parking lot with five trucks to serve up tasty treats.

Hosted by the Food Truck Mafia, the event runs from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Food Truck Mafia also hosts Fremont Street Eats on the Mission Valley ROP campus in Fremont every Friday and Niles Street Eats at the Niles Town Plaza on Wednesdays.

Here's what's on the menu for tonight:

Grillaz Gone Wild

• Want some warm bread full of delicious meats and cheese? Enter Grillaz. New this year, this Fremont-based food truck specializes in hoagies and gourmet sandwiches, including Philly cheesesteaks.

Hongry Kong

• This San Francisco-based truck serves up traditional Hong Kong café style food and its menu features rice bowls with meats like beef brisket with tendons or fish cutlet to thick toasts, siu mai, fish balls, waffles with ice cream and egg tarts.

Kara’s Cupcakes

• Satisfy your sweet tooth by ordering some of these specialized cupcakes. Find all-time favorites like Chocolate Velvet, Kara’s Karrot and Sweet S’mores.

Twister Truck

• A "Mexican grill with a twist," this truck serves up some of your favorite Mexican dishes in traditional styles or in tortilla "cones." Items include Sunrise Burritos and Tacos (served with a fried egg), San Diego Burritos (rolled with french fries), chipotle shrimp tacos, quesadillas, tortas and more.
