Cal Poly Pomona Students Robbed On Campus
Campus authorities are warning that two students have been robbed of their cell phones.

Two Cal Poly Pomona students were robbed of cell phones in separate incidents at the school, authorities said today.
The crimes occurred on April 30 and May 3, according to the college's public affairs office. Authorities circulated a composite drawing of the suspect, described as a white man in his 20s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build and blond hair.
On the afternoon of May 3, the suspect approached a student who was walking through Parking Lot K toward the bus stop at Temple Avenue and South Campus Drive. After demanding to see the student's cell phone, the man punched him in the face, took the phone and ran.

On the afternoon of April 30, the suspect asked to use a student's cell phone, then punched him in the face and ran away. The student was walking on the sidewalk between the track at Kellogg Field and Scolinos Field, near Parking Lot B.
