• Mitchell 1, ASE Honor 2025 Master Tech of the Year (brakeandfrontend.com) — A longtime Citrus College automotive instructor in Glendora has been named the 2025 Mitchell 1/ASE Master Technician of the Year, earning national recognition for his expertise and teaching. Covina resident Mariano Rubio has spent 15 years training students in advanced automotive and engineering courses at Citrus, while also working in industry and pursuing a mechanical engineering doctorate.
