Candidates Vying for Seats on Glendora Unified School Board

Three seats will be open on the Glendora Unified School Board for the Nov. 5 election, and so far, three candidates are in the running.

With the deadline to file candidacy papers Aug. 9, three candidates – Michael Gautreau, Chuck Gomer and Cory Ellenson – will be ready to campaign for the three open spots. Unless another candidate joins the race, the three will automatically earn a four-year term.

Ellenson, who ran unsuccessfully in the 2011 school board election, will run against the two incumbents, Gomer and Gautreau.

All candidates must file with the Los Angeles County Clerk’s Office before Aug. 9. For more information, visit http://www.lavote.net/.
