Firefighters Work to Save Dogs in Glendora Apartment Fire

The fire was reported Tuesday evening on S. Sunflower Avenue.

Fire crews worked Tuesday to douse a fire in the walls of a Glendora apartment building and rescued five dogs from the building, administering CPR to one of the animals.

The fire was reported at 5:45 p.m. in an apartment at 1739 S. Sunflower Ave., and knocked down at 6:35 p.m. a county fire dispatcher said.

One firefighter suffered a minor medical problem and was taken to a hospital for treatment. The condition of the dog that required CPR was not immediately known.
