Man Suspected of Attempted Theft at Glendora Dealership
A man was discovered trying to steal a catalytic converter from a truck at a dealership Wednesday morning.

In the early morning hours Wednesday, Glendora Police discovered a man lying underneath a truck at a Glendora dealership, attempting to steal a catalytic converter. Â
Glendora Police were called to the Colley Ford dealership, 1945 E. Auto Centre Drive, at around 4 a.m. after a man was seen trespassing onto the property, according to Glendora Police. Â
John James, 53, was found trying to remove the converter from the large truck. He also had methamphetamine in his possession. Â
James was arrested and booked for attempted grand theft, possession of meth and burglary tools. Â
James may be connected to similar burglaries in the area, said police.Â
