Monday Essentials: Movies in the Park, Committee Openings, and Lassie League Fundraiser

Here are five things residents of Glendora need to know this week.

1. The Glendora Rotary Club’s Movies in the Park continues. This week, Wreck-It-Ralph will be screened at Finkbiner Park’s Bandshell along Cullen Avenue off of Foothill Blvd. All movies begin at nightfall.

2. There is an opening the City’s Investment Advisory Committee. If you are interested in being a part of the City’s decision-making on investments, you must turn in your application to the City Clerk’s Office no later than Thursday at 5 p.m.

3. The Glendora Lassie League Softball Team is headed to nationals in Peoria, Ariz. They are hosting a car wash fundraiser this Saturday, July 27 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Clubhouse 66, 1200 E. Route 66. All car washes are $5.
