• Chumash Tribe's Project Pink Raises $10,083 for Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital Breast Imaging Center (nativenewsonline.net) — Goleta residents now have a boost to local breast health services, thanks to a $10,083 donation from the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians to the Breast Imaging Center at Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital. Funds from the Chumash Casino Resort’s Project Pink campaign will support screenings and imaging at the Patterson Avenue facility, where residents can schedule mammograms and other services locally.
