Aaron Hernandez Previously Involved in 'Family Disturbances' in Hermosa
The former NFL star and murder suspect made waves in Hermosa Beach earlier this year, according to records.

Former NFL star and murder suspect Aaron Hernandez was involved in disputes earlier this year in Hermosa Beach, according to police.
Hermosa Police responded to "family disturbances" on March 25 and April 2 involving Hernandez, who is being charged with murder in the shooting death of Odin Lloyd, according to records.
Police were dispatched to a Hermosa Beach home at 8:16 p.m. on March 25 when girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins indicated she and Hernandez were fighting and he had cut his wrist "on purpose." The call was later amended to indicate Hernandez had not attempted suicide, instead his wrist was cut when he punched a window, according to records.
The incident was closed at 8:31 p.m., reporting that the Fire Department checked out and gave the 23-year-old Hernandez options for assistance and that Jenkins was not making a claim of domestic violence. She said Hernandez had been mad about "something else."

On April 2, police officers were again dispatched to the home located at 100 Block of Lyndon Street. Officers were prompted by a neighbor who heard yelling and things being thrown around in the house. That incident was closed at 10:55 p.m. with a report that the "female will pack some stuff, male half left and will come back later."
No other information involving the incidents was available.
Hernandez, who pleaded not guilty, is being held without bail in a Massachusetts jail.
