Annual Pier Lighting, Downtown Holiday Open House Wednesday

The 26th Annual Pier Lighting and The 21st Annual Holiday Open House are all set to happen on Wednesday, Nov. 18 when downtown streets will be closed for the festivities.

Student choirs from Manhattan Beach Middle School and Mira Costa High School will perform before the lighting of the pier takes place.

Mayor Mark Burton expects to flip the switch on the pier’s holiday lights sometime between 7 and 7:15 p.m.

Downtown merchants will come alive with holiday festivities to thank their customers and the community for their year-round support. Merchants will be open til 9 p.m.
