Body of Missing Swimmer Found Off Hermosa Beach
Medical personnel attempted resuscitation but was not able to revive the man and pronounced him dead at the scene.
HERMOSA BEACH, CA - The body of a swimmer that went missing was pulled from water off Hermosa Beach on Thursday.
The male swimmer was reported missing about 6:40 p.m. near the Second Street lifeguard tower, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The body was found at around 8:45 p.m.
Medical personnel attempted resuscitation but was not able to revive the man and pronounced dead at the scene, Hermosa Beach police said. Investigators are trying to identified the body.
