Chamber of Commerce Encourages Enjoying Local Businesses’ Festivities
HERMOSA BEACH, CA – Following is a statement from the City of Hermosa Beach regarding the plans for New Year’s Eve on Friday.

“The City of Hermosa Beach appreciates the many years that the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau has sponsored a concert and beach ball drop on Pier Plaza to celebrate the New Year. We understand that the COVID-19 pandemic’s detrimental impact on the Chamber’s finances preclude its sponsorship of the concert and ball drop on Pier Plaza this year. We ask everyone to celebrate the New Year safely.”

“While we continue to recover from the financial impacts of the pandemic, we encourage everyone to come safely enjoy the New Year’s Eve celebrations planned by our amazing local businesses Friday evening. Many are planning special menus and live music to usher in 2022. To learn more about these festivities, please follow the Chamber’s Facebook and Instagram accounts. We encourage the local community to continue to support local.”
