Masks Required when Visiting Indoor City Facilities; Online and Telephone Services Still Available

HERMOSA BEACH, CA – With COVID-19 infection rates beginning to decline, the City of Hermosa Beach announced today that it will resume direct, in-person services at 7 a.m. on Monday, January 31, 2022. The City had previously limited in-person services to protect the health of staff and the public during the surge in new COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations caused by the highly infectious Omicron variant.  

For people visiting City facilities in person, Los Angeles County Department of Public Health continues to require masks indoors and recommends a well-fitting medical grade mask, surgical mask or higher-level respirator such as an N95 filtering facepiece respirator or KN95.  

The City continues to offer many of its services online and by telephone. The Hermosa Beach City Council and City commissions will continue to conduct “hybrid” meetings so that the public can attend meetings in-person or participate online or via phone.
