 HERMOSA BEACH – The City of Hermosa Beach is asking veterans, their friends and family members to submit the names of veterans who have a connection to Hermosa Beach to be included in its Veterans are Timeless campaign this year in honor of Veterans Day, Nov. 11.  

Submissions are due Sunday and can be provided through an online submission form on the City’s website. Those names will be added to the ones included in last year’s Veterans are Timeless campaign. The video of last year’s campaign may be viewed on YouTube

With the additional veterans added to the video, the 2021 Veterans are Timeless campaign video will be shared on the Hermosa Beach Community Resources Department’s social media channels and on Channel 8 (Spectrum) and Channel 31 (Frontier) during the month of November.  

On Veterans Day, Nov. 11, the names of the veterans who are submitted will be showcased near the Veterans Memorial located on the east lawn of the Hermosa Beach Community Center.  

The City will also commemorate Veterans Day with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Veterans Memorial at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 11. The public is invited to the wreath-laying ceremony and to visit the Veterans Memorial to honor the people who have served in the military.
