Fashion's Night Out to Hit Beach Cities
We've got the lowdown on the best places to celebrate Thursday night's dedication to fashion.
Instead of trekking to New York for the ultra-glamorous Fashion’s Night Out on Thursday, Hermosa Beach fashionistas can visit neighboring Manhattan Beach or Redondo Beach for the annual shopping extravaganza.
Shops in both towns (yes, we're still talkin' Manhattan Beach, not Manhattan) will offer sneak peeks of the latest fall trends, decadent food, special discounts and even some bubbly.
Fashion’s Night Out first launched as an after-hours shopping event in New York City in 2009 as an effort to boost the retail industry, according to the project’s Facebook page.

Now the initiative—a collaboration between Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, and the City of New York—has grown to take place in communities around the world.
The night brings together style enthusiasts as stores stay open late to offer special sales, gifts and entertainment.
