Have Coffee With Hermosa Cop

Hermosa Beach residents with safety concerns or questions are invited to meet with a Hermosa Beach police officer over coffee next week at the on PCH.

The Hermosa Beach Police Department on July 19 will be conducting a trial "Ask a Cop" program, in which a local officer will meet with community members from 10 to 11 a.m.

"The officer will try and answer whatever questions are presented to him related to law enforcement in the city of Hermosa Beach," said Sgt. Robert Higgins in a statement Tuesday. "The public is encouraged to stop by with their questions, or even to just say hello."
