Hermosa Beach Police Inviting Public Comments During Reaccreditation Process
The public information meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8 at the Hermosa Beach Community Center, 710 Pier Ave.

HERMOSA BEACH, CA -- The Hermosa Beach Police Department is inviting public comments at a community meeting as the agency goes through the reaccreditation process.
The public information meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8 at the Hermosa Beach Community Center, 710 Pier Ave.
The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement assessment team will the chair the meeting. Members of the public will have 10 minutes to comment on the department's ability to comply with law enforcement standards.

Residents may also send their written comments to CALEA at 13575 Heathcote Boulevard, Ste. 320, Gainesville, Virginia, 20155. Comments must be received before the meeting to be considered in the accreditation assessment.
Comments are also accepted by leaving a message at (310) 318-0342 between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Nov. 8. Messages are limited to 10 minutes.
