HERMOSA BEACH, CA -- The vintage lights on the Hermosa Beach Pier that were featured in the hit film, "La La Land," don't exist in real life, but this weekend they will briefly become a reality.

Sunday has been declared "La La Land" in the city and the prop lights used in the film will make a comeback for a ceremony and performance by musicians from the film. "La La Land" is set to be released on Blu-Ray on Tuesday.

The city has expressed interest in incorporating the vintage-looking lights in future renovations of the iconic pier. Ever since the movie's release, fans have flocked to Hermosa Beach Pier and to the Lighthouse Cafe, which was prominently featured.
