Landmark Hermosa: Jama Auto House

, which sits at 700 PCH, has been a part of the Hermosa Beach community since 1983.

The family-owned business not only sells pre-owned luxury cars but also includes a full-service department that inspects, repairs, and reconditions the vehicles, according to the company’s website.

There’s even a "Club Jama"—anyone who buys a car at the business becomes a member and is offered a special rate for maintenance services.

The company in 2009 received the U.S. Commerce Association’s "Best of Hermosa Beach" award in the used car automobile dealers category.

Andrea Jacobsson, owner of Jama Auto, served on the city’s this year.
