Margaritas to end the day

Each week, Hermosa Beach Patch publishes a and drink specials. This time, the focus is on three hot spots that serve up flavorful margaritas:

Cantina Real

on Pier Plaza offers $3 margaritas daily during happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m., according to its website. The margaritas at this seaside hot spot range in flavor from strawberry to mango, rainbow to raspberry.

Sharkeez

on Pier Plaza offers an —16 margaritas to be exact. The most unique include the pop rockin' watermelon margarita (made with real watermelon Pop Rocks candies) and the cucumber jalapeno margarita that packs a big punch. Happy hour is from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Palmilla Cocina y Tequila

A newcomer to the Pier Plaza scene, serves a variety of handcrafted Mexican-influenced cocktails. A is the fresh, spicy mango margarita (made with Hornitos blanco tequila, hand shaken with fresh squeezed lime juice, mango fruit, and muddled jalapeno and cucumber served on the rocks.)
