Palmilla Cocina Hopes to Expand Outdoor Seating

Palmilla Owner Ron Newman’s application for a conditional use permit to use the outdoor patio next door goes before the Hermosa Beach Planning Commission Tuesday. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in City Hall Council Chambers, 1315 Valley Drive.

Palmilla, 39 Pier Ave., wants to use the outdoor patio at 37 Pier Ave., where Cafe Bonaparte is. Newman says, if approved, the new Palmilla outdoor dining space at 37 Pier Ave. will close at 11 p.m. The restaurant’s patio closes at 1:30 p.m. Alcohol would be available on both patios.
