• Event producers will have more vendor options if Hermosa council passes proposed ordinance (dailybreeze.com) — Hermosa Beach is weighing a rule change that would let special event organizers bring in additional food, drink, and merchandise vendors on the beach, with discounts for Hermosa-based businesses but no alcohol allowed. The City Council will later decide on the proposal, which includes per-day vendor fees, limits on food types, and safeguards to prevent crowding and protect public safety on the sand and Strand.
