Hear Plans for PCH-Aviation Corridor
A community meeting to discuss possible changes to come to PCH and Aviation Boulevard is scheduled for Saturday morning.

Hermosa Beach residents interested in hearing some of the ways that the city's PCH-Aviation Improvement Committee plans to revamp the popular PCH-Aviation Boulevard corridor are invited to weigh in on ideas at a Town Hall meeting Saturday at 10 a.m. in City Council chambers.
The panel's aesthetics subgroup will be presenting its final report at the meeting (see accompanying document under photo.)
The advisory committee was established last year to develop recommendations for improving the area's economic well-being, infrastructure and appearance.

The aesthetics team has explored recommending:
- a gateway sign for the PCH-Aviation area;
- new street signs;
- trees along the PCH-Aviation roadways;
- pedestrian medians;
- new street lights;
- artwork along street poles or at intersections;
- new bus benches and trash containers.
The subcommittee will discuss Saturday whether to recommend that the city hire a landscape architect and graphic design firm to help with the development of some of their ideas.
