Residents Invited to Weigh in on South Park Plans
Mark your calendars—the Hermosa Beach Parks and Recreation Commission is holding a public hearing on Oct. 4.

Hermosa Beach residents are invited to voice their opinions on the future plans for South Park during a meeting Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. in council chambers.
The meeting includes a public hearing on proposed plans to improve the local park, as commissioners will discuss:
- Location options for the installation of two new volleyball courts.
- And the potential revision of the South Park Master Plan to include a community garden, .
Other possible renovations include extending the play area in the park, replacing play equipment, and removing bleachers and .
