Never Too Late for the Party
Hermosa Beach Patch takes a look back at some of the must-reads in its archived After Dark column.

Do you remember the Hermosa Beach Patch column? Ah, the good ole days, it was like barhopping on paper (er, computer screen.)
Patch had to discontinue the column last year since author , a South Bay native, had moved away to Washington, D.C.

Here are some of the After Dark articles that stand out as must-reads:
- : Hermosa Beach nightlife venues for teens are limited, so some young partiers use fake IDs.
- : Although Hermosa venues are friendly to everyone, many people seek to watch the game at a place that supports their favorite squad.
- : Hermosa Beach is a melting pot of football fans who root for a plethora of different college and NFL teams, as well as form their own fantasy football leagues.
- : Unlike in Hollywood, having star status in Hermosa Beach comes from being part of the local family.
- : At popular bars, such as Sharkeez and Sangria, men wait in long lines hoping to meet women, while the lines are faster at Watermans and Cafe Boogaloo.
