Lanes Reopen After Truck Breaks Down In Hermosa Beach
Hermosa Beach police sent an alert just before noon saying a broken-down truck blocking traffic had been removed from the road.
HERMOSA BEACH, CA — All lanes near Pier Avenue in Hermosa Beach have reopened after a broken-down truck that had been blocking traffic was removed from the area, according to police.
Hermosa Beach police said in an alert Wednesday around 11:43 a.m. that it was experiencing mechanical issues and blocking the road, prompting road closures in the area.
Pier Avenue between Pacific Coast Highway and Valley Drive was closed for a short time before police sent out another alert saying the road hazard had been cleared.
