What's Up: Oil EIR, Summer Concerts, Beer Olympics

1. If you'd like to comment on the scope of the Environmental Impact Report currently in the works for the potential oil drilling project, you may do so until Aug. 12 via email, regular mail or dropped off at city hall, 1315 Valley Drive, Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Emailed comments or questions should be sent to Ken Robertson, director, community development department, at krobertson@www.hermosabch.org, .
   
2. Nearby Redondo Beach continues its free summer concerts with The Free Valentines Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. on the pier. Justin Hopkins will perform Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. Beach chairs are welcome. 
3. South Bay Beer Olympics will take to On The Rocks Sports Bar, 239 North Harbor Drive, Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.Check out the event's Facebook page. 
4. A Woodstock Tribute takes the stage in Manhattan Beach Sunday as part of the city's free summer concert series. Concerts are outdoors in Polliwog Park from 5 to 7 p.m.
