Fire Burns Grass, Brush at Debs Regional Park
The afternoon blaze was contained in 58 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

A small fire burned less than two acres at Debs Regional Park this afternoon, though the fire's cause and precise acreage is still being determined, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The call came into the department at around 1:30 p.m. Monday at 5600 N. Via Marisol, east of the 110 Freeway, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
According to Humphrey and updates from the fire department, 80 firefighters and a trio of water-dropping choppers contained the fire in 58 minutes. No injuries were reported, and no structures were damaged.
