1. Northeast Democratic Club meeting

The monthly meeting of the Northeast Democratic Club, which was founded in the early 1960s largely on the inspiration derived from Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech, is scheduled Wednesday, Nov. 20, at El Arco Iris restaurant, located at 5684 York Blvd., from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The meeting is open to the public.

3. 'Just Say No to Drugs'

Mark your calendars: A discussion on the city's "Just Say No to Drugs" program is scheduled at the Cypress Park Public Library tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 21, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Aimed largely at teens, the program is advertised as being highly informative and will feature a selection of guest speakers.
