“Enola Holmes 2”
Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill; directed by Harry Bradbeer
Picking up after the events of the original film, the sequel follows Enola Holmes (Millie Bobby Brown) as she sets out to solve a mystery surrounding the disappearance of a young girl. Who does she call for help? Of course, it’s none other than her famous twin-brother Sherlock played by Henry Cavill. Will the duo find the missing piece of the puzzle?
"Enola Holmes 2" is available on Netflix Nov. 4.
“Falling for Christmas”
Lindsay Lohan, Chord Overstreet; directed by Janeen Damian
Christmas holidays, accident, amnesia: sounds like a precursor for a romantic story. Meet hotel heiress Sierra Belmont (Lindsay Lohan), who suddenly suffers from amnesia after experiencing a skiing accident in the days leading up to Christmas. Who ends up taking care of her? A widower, the handsome lodge owner Jake (Chord Overstreet). Need we dare say more? But did we also mention that Sierra is already engaged to be married?
"Falling for Christmas" is available on Netflix Nov. 10.
“The Wonder”
Florence Pugh, Niamh Algar, Ciarán Hinds; directed by Sebastián Lelio

Mysteriously, in the year 1882 in a little Irish town, 11-year-old Anna O’Donnell (Kila Lord Cassiddy) remains alive and well without food for months. Enter Lib Wright (Florence Pugh), an English nurse who is brought in to examine and watch the young girl’s daily routine. Miracle or not? Tourists begin to flock to see Anna. Will Lib be able to discover the reason behind Anna’s daunting invincibility?

When famous novelist Jake Turner (Justin Hartley) returns to his childhood home at Christmas to settle his estranged mother’s estate, he unearths a diary that seemingly holds the key to his past, including the answers to Rachel’s (Barrett Doss) burning questions about her biological mother? Is Noel’s old diary for real?

“Christmas With You”
Aimee Garcia, Freddie Prinze Jr.; directed by Gabriela Tagliavini

In Gabriela Tagliavini’s holiday romantic comedy, Aimee Garcia plays a pop star suffering from career-burnout. Desperate for an antidote to the rut she’s in, she decides to travel to a small New York neighborhood to grant a fan’s Christmas wish. Will she find the inspiration she needs to get back on track — or even a shot of romance and love?

“The Swimmers”
Nathalie Issa, Manal Issa; directed by Sally El Hosaini

A poignant biopic based on the true story of the Mardini sisters, “The Swimmers” tells the story of Yusra and Sara, two talented swimmers who flee their war-torn motherland, Syria, in 2015. However, their escape to Germany is no small feat, given that they have to traverse the unforgiving waters of the Agean Sea, along with other 18 migrants from Turkey and Greece. By the end, complications arise, when their dinghy’s motor suddenly stops working, seemingly crushing every ray of hope to make it alive. Can they prevail and make it all the way to the 2016 Rio Olympics?

“The Bad Guys”
Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Awkwafina; directed by Pierre Perifel

Dreamworks’ new animation film comes to Netflix with Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Awkwafina, Craig Robinson, Anthony Ramos, Richard Ayoade and Zazie Beetz, all lending their voices as a crew of criminals trying to pull the biggest con of the century — pretending to become model citizens after their arrest. Can they pull it off, while going under the police chief’s (Alex Borstein) radar?

“Slumberland”
Jason Momoa, Chris O’Dowd, Marlow Barkley; directed by Francis Lawrence

Francis Lawrence’s new Netflix movie project, which is a film adaptation of Winsor McCay’s “Little Nemo in Slumberland,” follows the story of a young girl, Nemo (Marlow Barkley), who discovers a secret map to the dreamworld of Slumberland. How does she get there? An eccentric outlaw (Jason Momoa) comes to her aid in her journey to the magical land of hope, dreams and wishes — and no nightmares.
"Slumberland" is available on Netflix Nov. 11.
“My Father’s Dragon”
Judy Greer, Jacob Tremblay, Leighton Meester; directed by Nora Twomey

Based on Ruth Stiles Gannett's book of the same name, Cartoon Saloon’s new family-friendly animated movie tells the story of Elmer Elevator (voiced by Jacob Tremblay), a young boy who runs away to the magic kingdom of Wild Island in search of a baby dragon. Rita Moreno, Dianne Wiest, Whoopi Goldberg and Ian McShane round up the rest of the talented cast.
"My Father's Dragon" is available on Netflix Nov. 4.
