Academy Awards 2023: All 23 Oscar Winners In Photos

HOLLYWOOD, CA — The 2023 Academy Awards went down Sunday night, serving up one of the most historic and unforgettable events in the 95-year history of the Oscars.

In an evening filled with poignant moments, the 2023 Oscars are one for the ages, as A24 won Best Picture, Best Director and all four top acting prizes, making history in the process. The Hollywood studio behind “Everything, Everywhere All at Once” and “The Whale” now holds the distinction of being the first studio to sweep all top Oscars' honors.

“Everything Everywhere All at Once” won seven Oscars, including Best Picture, earning Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert the Best Director; Michelle Yeoh the Best Actress; Ke Huy Quan the Best Supporting Actor; and Jaimee Lee Curtis the Best Supporting Actress. Meanwhile, Brendan Fraser won Best Actor for his outstanding performance of a reclusive teacher in “The Whale.”

It is also the first time ever in the Academy Awards’ history that two Asian actors, Yeoh and Quan, won in the same year.
