Academy Awards 2024: Complete List Of Oscar Nominees
"Oppenheimer" leads the pack with 13 nominations, while "Barbie" scores 8. The 96th Academy Awards will take place March 10.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — The biopic "Oppenheimer" led the 2024 Oscar field with 13 nominations, including nods for Best Picture, Best Director for Christopher Nolan, as well as acting nods for Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr. and Emily Blunt.
“Barbie,” Greta Gerwig’s take on the iconic doll’s story, scored eight nominations, including nods for Best Picture, as well as acting nods for America Ferrera and Ryan Gosling. Gerwig and Margot Robbie were left out of the Best Director and Best Actress fields, respectively.

The fact-based drama "Killers of the Flower Moon" also shined with 10 nominations, including nods for Best Picture, Best Director for Martin Scorsese, as well as acting nods for Lily Gladstone and Robert De Niro. Gladstone is the first Native American to be nominated for Best Actress in Oscars history. Meanwhile, Leonardo DiCaprio was left out of the Best Actor field.
The nominations for the 96th Academy Awards were unveiled Tuesday morning by Zazie Beetz and Jack Quaid, ahead of a ceremony on Sunday, March 10 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, and telecast coast-to-coast live on ABC at 4 p.m. PT (7 p.m. ET). Jimmy Kimmel will return as host for the fourth time after his previous stints in 2017, 2018 and 2023.

For this year's Oscars, there were 321 feature films deemed eligible to compete, with 265 eligible films vying for the 2024 Best Picture award. The Oscar buzz was swirling around last summer’s double feature “Barbenheimer” — “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer” — along with other well-acclaimed films from around the world, including “The Holdovers,” “Poor Things,” “Killers of the Flower Moon,” “Maestro,” “American Fiction,” “Anatomy of a Fall,” “Past Lives” and “The Zone of Interest.”
