Director Jeff Baena, Husband Of Aubrey PLaza, Dies By Suicide: Report
His credits include "I Heart Huckabees," "Life After Beth," Joshy," "Spin Me Round," "Horse Girl," And "The Little Hours," reports say.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Director and screenwriter Jeff Baena, the husband of actress Aubrey Plaza died Friday by an apparent suicide, law enforcement sources told TMZ.
An assistant found Baena, 47, and called first responders to a Los Angeles-area home at around 10:30 a.m. for a death investigation and he was pronounced dead at the scene, the outlet reported.
The LA County Medical Examiner's office told The Daily Mail that Baena died by hanging at Los Feliz property he shared with Plaza.

Plaza has not commented publicly, according to reports. She had been scheduled to take the stage as a presenter at the Golden Globes Sunday night.

Baena got his film degree at New York University, and moved to LA to launch his movie career, eventually getting work with directors such as Robert Zemeckis and David O. Russell, according to the outlet.
The Miami native's credits include "I Heart Huckabees," and "Life After Beth," starring Plaza, Molly Shannon, and John C. Reilly, as well as "Joshy," "Horse Girl," "The Little Hours," and "Spin Me Round," according to Wikipedia.
