Hiker Airlifted From Runyon Canyon After Injury

An injured hiker was airlifted from Runyon Canyon Wednesday morning, firefighters said.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — An injured 63-year-old hiker was airlifted from Runyon Canyon on Wednesday morning, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters were dispatched at 8:50 a.m. to the Runyon Canyon area and performed a hoisting operation to extract the woman from the park, the LAFD said.

She was suffering from an injury to her leg, firefighters said.
