JFK Nephew, Actor Christopher Lawford Dies At 63
Kerry Kennedy announced the death of her cousin Christopher Lawford on Twitter.

HOLLYWOOD, CA -- Christopher Lawford, an American actor and member of the Kennedy family, died recently at the age of 63. The death of Lawford, who was the nephew of former President John F. Kennedy, was announced Wednesday on Twitter by his cousin Kerry Kennedy.
Lawford, who is the son of Peter Lawford and Patricia Kennedy, made a name for himself in Hollywood, appearing in soap operas "All My Children" and "General Hospital." He also appeared on the big screen in "Terminator 3" and "The Doors."
As a member of the Kennedy family, Lawford also worked in politics as an activist. He held positions with the Democratic National Committee, working alongside former Sen. Edward M. Kennedy.

A native of Santa Monica, Lawford authored "Symptoms of Withdrawal: A Memoir of Snapshots and Redemption," which became a New York Times bestseller in 2005.
It's unclear how he died but TMZ reported that he "was at a Yoga studio Tuesday night when he had a medical emergency and later died."

He is survived by his three children.
