Man Shot, Killed in Hollywood Hills

HOLLYWOOD, CA — A man was fatally shot Wednesday in the Hollywood Hills, and his killer was being sought, police said.

The shooting occurred at about 2 a.m. in the 7800 block of Fareholm Drive, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

Information was not immediately available on the identity of the victim, who was described as being about 35-40 years of age. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to police, the victim was shot by a man who fled in a vehicle. No description was available of the suspect or vehicle. Investigators were unsure of the motive for the crime.
