National Night Out, Music and More

Start off the day right with a few items to keep in mind for today:

• Don't forget that tonight will be National Night Out. Hollywood is celebrating with a free event at 5 p.m. It's a chance to meet community leaders, neighbors and LAPD officers.

• Tonight is also the last night for the Hollywood & Highland Center's 10th Annual Jazz and Summer Concert Series, this time with The Meters Experience featuring Leo Nocintelli. The event is free and takes place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Central Courtyard.

• The Hollywood Bowl will be featuring Willie Nelson and Lyle Lovett on Friday.
