Officers pointed less-than-lethal weapons and handguns at the truck and used bean bags in an attempt to shoot out the heavily tinted windows.

At 10:42 a.m., a woman wearing a pink T-shirt briefly exited the truck before getting back inside.

The LAPD SWAT team arrived at around noon and boxed in the pickup with armored trucks. An officer was seen speaking to the woman several times over a megaphone.

At 12:22 p.m., officers broke the rear and driver's side windows using a long pole and deployed non-lethal gas into the cab three times.

After the third deployment, at 12:38 p.m., the woman opened the passenger-side door. SWAT officers rushed in, pulled her out and took her into custody.

Coldwater Canyon was completely shut down in the area due to the standoff.
