HOLLYWOOD, CA — Grandiloquent celebration. Seismic dance party. Euphoric dazzle. Mesmerizing choreography. Amazing stage production. And the coruscating megawatt star of the one and only — Taylor Swift. All these make the cultural phenom’s “The Eras Tour” movie such a thrilling spectacle.

No doubt, Taylor Swift fans — whether they have already seen the concert or not — will relish every second of the 168-minute cinematic experience as the megastar shows her Swifties how much she adores them.

The concert film is about Swift up close and personal. But don’t expect any "Long Pond" sessions or private reveals. This is not a documentary film as many might think. It is about her, all told through the medium of her musical talent as a songwriter and performer, as well as a trail blazer in her own right. Meanwhile, she never misses a beat to express her gratitude to her adoring fans.

For the opener, the 33-year-old Swift, sporting a sequined body suit and boots, takes center stage with her gleeful greeting, “Oh, Hi!” flanked by dancers adorned with their giant-butterfly costumes. Fans go wild with deafening echoes of excitement at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, where the concert footage was filmed during the Aug. 4 and Aug 5 tour dates.

An IMAX screen further elevates the movie experience, especially when she sings her longest running No. 1 hit to date, her self-doubting single hit, “Anti-Hero,” against a video image of a giant Swift towering over skyscrapers. Simply incredible to say the least!

Concert film director Sam Wrench has managed to place movie viewers at the epicenter of it all, showing stage close-ups as Swift belts out hit singles of introspection, confessions, breakups, and renaissance with much gusto, joined by a crew of magnificent musicians and dancers.

Time and time again, the stadium gleams and glows with rows of glittering lights emanating from cellphones and wristband LEDs. Theater crowds are invited to do much the same — to sing, dance and engage with one another in theaters.

The excitement is undoubtedly palpable as Swifties proudly show their friendship bracelets as they sing along. It feels as though a pop culture movement were unfolding right before your eyes as Swift performs 39 songs — a homage to all 10 studio albums of her career to date ranging from her 2006 self-titled debut, “Taylor Swift,” to last year’s “Midnight.”

In contrast, the modern pop diva — who is known for her tenacity to sing more songs per concert night compared to most touring performers — showcased 45 songs during the U.S. leg of her “Eras” live concerts, which lasted one hour longer than the celluloid version.

Can you imagine a stage turning magically into a swimming pool? Well imagine no more. The concert film has this wildly creative sequence — and Swift dives into it much to the surprise of onlookers.

Another highlight of the movie shows the fantastic “Red” era. Appropriately so, Swift is wearing a shiny red coat over a red-and-black romper in a sequence that emotes love, despair, and heartbreak. The scene charms with emotional dazzle as she sings the 10-minute version of the breakup ballad “All Too Well” with her famous powerful pipes.

The number of outfits? It is a total collection of 16 various one-piece garments, gowns, bodysuits, dresses of assorted colors.

The concert film ends with her performance of “Karma” with a panned shot of the 70,000 diehard fans in total Taylor thrall by concert’s end.

Expected to do well at the box office, the “Eras Tour” movie has already crossed $100 million in global pre-sales. To put things in perspective, the recent blockbuster “Barbie” earned a whopping $155 million opening weekend, so the concert film is off to a blazing start this weekend.
