Transient Learns Fate in Stabbing
A fight over paperwork results in a deadly encounter at the Hollywood Recycle Center.

A transient who fatally stabbed another man at the Hollywood Recycle Center in 2013 was sentenced today to 16 years to life in prison.
Lowell Taylor, 62, was convicted of second-degree murder on Oct. 2 for killing 49-year-old Timothy Lawrence Genry on June 11, 2013.
Police said Taylor got into a fight with Gentry over paperwork. Officers responding to the scene found Gentry with a stab wound to his upper body and arrested Taylor at a nearby liquor store.
