Two People Injured After House Fire Erupts In Hollywood
97 firefighters were dispatched to fight the flames, and a knockdown was called at 9:47 a.m.
HOLLYWOOD, CA — A fire that erupted at a vacant Hollywood house Friday morning spread to three nearby structures and left several people, including a firefighter, with minor injuries.
A fire captain at the scene told KTLA that three people were taken to area hospitals, including a senior who was transported for observation based on her age, a woman with "minor hand and arm injuries" and a man with injuries to his hands. He said no firefighters were injured.
The fire was reported at 9:08 a.m. at 1245 N Bronson Ave, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. 97 firefighters were sent to the scene, where they found the fire had spread to an attic of a nearby two-story home, along with a guest house at the back of the property.

Firefighters reported the building was "structurally unstable" as they worked, and managed to contain the fire from significantly damaging a third apartment complex south of the original fire. A knockdown was called at 9:47 a.m.
One man was taken to a nearby hospital after he was burned on the arm during the fire. A firefighter also suffered an unknown minor injury, and was treated at the scene.

The cause of the fire wasn't immediately known and remains under investigation.
