'Vanderpump Rules' Star Arrested On Suspicion Of Domestic Violence: Report

BURBANK, CA — James Kennedy, who previously starred on the popular reality show "Vanderpump Rules," was arrested this week on suspicion of domestic violence, TMZ reported.

Burbank Police Department officers were dispatched to a home Tuesday night in response to a call about an argument between Kennedy and a woman. A witness said they saw Kennedy grab the woman at one point during the argument, though officers did not see any visible injuries on her, according to the report.

Kennedy, 32, was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic violence. He was released from custody after posting $20,000 bail, TMZ reported.

The Burbank City Attorney's Office is reviewing the case to consider whether bringing it to court.

The woman has not been publicly identified, but TMZ reported that Kennedy and his girlfriend, Ally Lewber, attended a holiday party at Kathy Hilton's house the night of his arrest.

The pair, who began dating in 2022, have faced rumors of domestic violence in the past, Page Six reported.

Lewber has denied the allegations. But she did say on a podcast that she and Kennedy would fight when they were drunk. Kennedy had previously said he was sober after battling substance use issues, US Weekly reported.

“We would fight when we would drink. I would drink and pick [fights]. When you drink that much and in those environments, it is not great. That’s not who we really are. That’s an example of why he shouldn’t drink," she said.

Kennedy, a British DJ, first appeared in a guest role on the second season of "Vanderpump Rules" in 2013 and went on to become a main cast member for seasons 4 through 11, which ended in September 2023.

After the two began dating, Lewber appeared on the show's 10th and 11th seasons.

The show follows Lisa Vanderpump and the staff at her several West Hollywood restaurants.

Kennedy is set to DJ a club in Milwaukee this weekend, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.
