The spy thriller franchise, โ€œMission Impossible,โ€ continues with its sixth chapter, โ€œFallout,โ€ bringing back together Tom Cruiseโ€™s undercover agent Ethan Hunt, his loyal IMF team โ€“ played by Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, and Ving Rhamesโ€” and the steely MI6 agent Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), along with Christopher McQuarrie as the filmโ€™s director.

Picking up after the events of โ€œMission: Impossible - Rogue Nation,โ€ the sequel finds Hunt and his team tasked with a new mission: to thwart a terrorist groupโ€™s plan to obliterate mankind. How exactly? They need to find three missing spheres of plutonium before itโ€™s too late.

However, complications arise as anarchist Solomon Lane (Sean Harris), the villain from โ€œRogue Nation,โ€ partners up with the terrorists. Also adding some surprises to the plot are CIA agent August Walker (Henry Cavill), and the femme fatale White Widow (Vanessa Kirby).

See it. Easily the best of the bunch, the film takes audiences across a dizzying array of death-defying stunts, and high-octane action sequences. Plus, Tom Cruise is spectacular. Tip: See the movie on IMAX if you can.

โ€œTeen Titans Go! To the Moviesโ€ โ€” Will Arnett, Kristen Bell, directed by Aaron Horvath and Peter Riva Michail

Adapted for the big screen from Cartoon Networkโ€™s โ€œTeen Titans Go!,โ€ the animated movie centers around five teenage superheroesโ€” Robin (Scott Menville), Cyborg (Khary Payton), Starfire (Hynden Walch), Raven (Tara Strong), and Beast Boy (Greg Cipes) โ€” and their dream to become Hollywood A-listers starring in a movie about themselves. But first, they need the biggest Hollywood director, Jade (Kristen Bell), to notice them.

Our superheroes soon make their way to Tinseltown to claim their rightful place in the world as movie stars. However, super-villain Slade (Will Arnett) plots to derail the teensโ€™ plan. Will they find success in the end?

See it. The family movie will delight young and old alike with its goofy humor and wild shenanigans, notwithstanding a somewhat-complicated script.

โ€œHot Summer Nightsโ€ โ€” Timothรฉe Chalamet, Maika Monroe, Alex Roe, directed by Elijah Bynum

Timothรฉe Chalamet stars as an introverted teen in Elijah Bynumโ€™s feature directorial debut about self-discovery, friendship, and seduction.

In the coming-of-age movie, which is set during the summer of 1991, Chalamet plays Daniel, a recent high-school graduate who is feeling despondent over his fatherโ€™s recent death. To help alleviate his pain and sorrow, his mother sends him to Cape Cod to spend his summer break with his aunt.

Everything is seemingly working well for Daniel at the Cape โ€” that is, until the teen encounters the townโ€™s notorious bad boy, Hunter Strawberry (Alex Roe), a small-time weed dealer who convinces Daniel to become his business partner.

It doesnโ€™t take long before the two teensโ€™ business venture booms, but problems arise when Daniel begins a secret romantic relationship with Hunterโ€™s sister McKayla (Maika Monroe).

Skip it. Chalametโ€™s impressive performance cannot save an overwrought plot. By the end, the movie feels stale.
