Burgers, blueberries, bears and my favorite spot to play tennis in L.A.

[Editor's Note: Usually, I reserve photo updates of my weekend for Facebook or Twitter, but this week I thought I'd try something new and share a brief mash-up.]
Good morning Hollywood Patch readers!
Hope you took some time to relax. It was a classic warm and sunny L.A. weekend, perfect for heading outdoors.

Here are a few items worth mentioning from my time out and about:
- recently redesigned its space. I stopped in on Saturday for dinner to check it out. There's defintely more emphasis on the bar. As opposed to the old design, the bar is front and center, they've added exposed brick to the walls and they've done away with the seating in front of the window. I loved the rosemary seasoning of their turkey burger (pictured).
- I dusted off my tennis shoes for the Vermont Canyon Tennis Courts in . These public courts are arguably the most beautiful in the area and it's only $8 to reserve a court for an hour. What a great escape from the urban bustle of Hollywood. Heard birds chirping and saw deer all while playing tennis with a picturesque backdrop of the rolling hills.
- Sunday morning blueberry pancakes have become routine the last few weeks. Over the weekend, blueberries were only $2.50 for a pound at Smart & Final in West Hollywood. Deal!
- Lastly, if you're driving up La Brea Avenue and passing Clinton Street, look up. It's probably the only time you'll see bears hanging out in the area!
How was your weekend? Would love to hear of adventures or new discoveries around Hollywood.
