What's New On Netflix: December 2023
"May December," "Maestro" and "Leave the World Behind" headline Netflix's roster of new releases.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Ho! Ho! Ho! The Yuletide season is here, and Netflix land celebrates it with a plethora of highly anticipated new releases sure to make our streaming nights more memorable this December.
In the coming weeks, the platform welcomes the streaming debut of films that are already generating Oscar buzz. One of them is “May December,” Todd Hayne’s new tabloid drama that shines a light on a couple (Julianne Moore and Charles Melton) two decades after their scandalous love affair shocked the entire nation. The movie also stars Natalie Portman as a famous Hollywood actress suddenly thrust into the couple’s private lives and lurid affairs.
Another one is “Maestro,” Bradley Cooper’s latest directorial effort, a biopic that centers on the relationship between Leonard Bernstein (Cooper) and the composer’s wife, Felicia Montealegre (Carrey Mulligan). Their long marriage spans decades of unique, if vaguely unsettling, love affair.
