What's New On Netflix: July 2018

Summer is heating up — and so are the offerings in Netflix land, thanks to a slew of action-packed movies, priceless classics, enchanting indie films and sizzling originals.

Before you head to theaters for "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom," get a refresher on the earlier films in the trilogy: "Jurassic Park," "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" and "Jurassic Park III," all of which are on Netflix in July. And in case that's not enough adventure for you, Brad Pitt’s “Troy” and Josh Hutcherson’s “Journey to the Center of the Earth” are also available for streaming this month.

Those seeking romance films can look forward to "Her" — in which Joaquin Phoenix and Scarlett Johansson portray a pair of unlikely lovers brought together by artificial intelligence — and "Blue Valentine," which stars Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams as a married couple grappling with their dead-end relationship.
