HOLLYWOOD, CA — July brings the heat — and with it a streaming slate packed with must-watch moments, can't-miss returns, and fan-favorite revivals. Whether you're craving heart-pounding action, laugh-out-loud comedy, or fantastical escapes, this month’s lineup screams blockbuster flair and summer thrills in Netflix land.
First up, the adrenaline rush: “The Old Guard 2” drops on July 2, with Charlize Theron reprising her role as the immortal warrior Andy. Expect globe-spanning combat, deeper mythology and a splash of existential dread.
Feeling nostalgic? “Happy Gilmore 2” tees off on July 25 — nearly 30 years since the cult classic’s theatrical release. Adam Sandler returns to the green as the eponymous golfer with his signature slap-shot swing, ready to serve up laughs, birdies and a few holes-in-one.

Rom-com lovers, buckle up — “Too Much,” a new romantic series from Lena Dunham, premieres on July 10. It follows heartbroken New Yorker Jessica (Megan Stalter) as she runs from heartbreak and into the arms of Londoner Felix (Will Sharpe), a soulful musician who is a maestro of messy feelings. Expect emotional turbulence ahead!
How about a darker drama? The mystery series “Untamed” arrives on July 17, thrusting viewers deep into Yosemite’s unforgiving wilderness, where a brutal murder draws special agent Kyle Turner (Eric Bana) into a treacherous terrain of long-buried secrets. As the mystery unravels, vengeance and justice blur in a haze of eerie stillness.
