What's New On Netflix: March 2023

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Rejoice, streaming fans! Netflix is ushering in spring’s blissful return with a plethora of much-awaited original programming and movie gems in the coming weeks.

Chris Rock fans, get excited! The superstar comedian headlines "Chris Rock: Selective Outrage" —Netflix’s first-ever live-streamed show in the streaming platform’s 25-year history.

Details on the comedy special are under wraps, but expect the likes of Amy Schumer, Cedric the Entertainer, David Spade and Kevin Hart to make special appearances in the global event that will take place on March 4 at 7 PM PT/10 PM ET.

Also slated for your viewing pleasure this month is the long-awaited return of the fantasy series “Shadow and Bone” on March 16 for Season 2. This time around, Alina Starkov (Jessie Mei Li) embarks on a quest to bring General Kirigan (Ben Barnes) down to his knees once and for all.

Elvis fans are also in for a big treat this month, as the animated comedy series “Agent Elvis” makes its screen debut on March 17. Matthew McConaughey lends his voice to the King of Rock and Roll as he enters a secret government spy program.

Looking for a whodunnit movie? Look no further than “Murder Mystery 2.” Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler reprise their roles as detective couple Audrey and Nick Spitz. In the sequel, both get tangled up in a kidnapping case.

Last but not least, a number of movie favorites are also making their way to the streaming platform this month, including “National Lampoon’s Animal House,” “Sleepless in Seattle,” “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2,” “World War Z,” and the entire collection of “The Hangover” movie franchise.
