What's New On Netflix: November 2022
"The Crown" returns for Season 5 with Imelda Staunton. "Enola Holmes 2," starring Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill, premieres.

November is shaping up to be an excellent month in Netflix land, bringing a plethora of brand-new content sure to keep everyone entertained as the days get shorter and colder in the weeks ahead.
This month, fans of "The Crown" are in for a treat, as the Emmy-winning period series returns for Season 5 on Nov. 9, with Imelda Staunton taking over the role of Queen Elizabeth II from Claire Foy and Olivia Colman, who both played the late queen in earlier seasons. In this new chapter of the series, the historical drama focuses on the monarch’s reign in the 1990s.
Netflix also welcomes the debut of “Wednesday,” the horror-comedy series based on The Addams Family, starring Jenna Ortega in the title role, as well as the return of the popular dark comedy series “Dead to Me” for its third and final season, starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini.

Several highly anticipated new films are also making their way to the streaming platform this month. Among them are the fantasy adventure “Slumberland,” starring Jason Momoa as an eccentric outlaw, and the romantic comedy “Falling for Christmas,” starring Lindsay Lohan in her first movie project with Netflix.
Meanwhile, Millie Bobby Brown reprises her girl-detective role in the much-awaited “Enola Holmes 2.” The sequel follows the young sleuth as she takes on a mystery surrounding a missing girl. Apparently, Enola needs the help of someone famous to solve the case. And — you guessed it — of course, it is none other than her brother Sherlock played by Henry Cavill.

Looking for an animation comedy? Look no further than “The Bad Guys,” Dreamworks’ new animated caper, loosely based on the children’s book series of the same name by Aaron Blabey. The film centers on a crew of outlaws trying to pull the con of the century — pretending to become model citizens after getting caught.
Popular movie gems also abound in this month’s Netflix offerings, such as “Where the Crawdads Sing,” “Captain Phillips,” “Still Alice,” “Training Day” and “The Bodyguard.”
