What's New On Netflix: October 2022

Rejoice, Halloween fans! The spooky season's return is here, and Netflix has all the goodies to cast a spell of treats in the coming weeks.

Guillermo del Toro fans, get ready to be bewitched, as the Oscar-winning director’s all-new horror anthology series, “Cabinet of Curiosities,” will finally make its screen debut on Oct. 25. Expect other-worldly dimensions and realities that are sure to chill and thrill.

If you’re looking for a horror mystery-thriller, why not conjure up the spirits with eight hospice patients in “The Midnight Club?” No doubt, you’ll be hearing noises from beyond the grave in no time.

For more Halloween vibes, the docuseries “Conversations With a Killer: The Jeffrey Dahmer Tapes” will also make its way to the streaming platform this month, focusing on Dahmer’s secret interviews about his serial killing spree.

Meanwhile, for the lighthearted Halloween fans, the stop-motion animation film “Wendell & Wild” offers a good dose of comic relief, starring Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele as two scheming demon brothers.

Not into the scary movie genre? Fear not! There are plenty of other selections to watch instead, including “Gladiator,” “Runaway Bride,” “Risky Business,” “The Color Purple” and the entire collection of the “Ocean” movie franchise.
